MMm the poor octopus looks rather distressed. David can certainly be provocative!!
Actually it reminds me of a programme I watched the other day all about an octopus - they are amazingly intelligent creatures - honestly you wouldn't believe it!!!!

I also saw a fascinating octopus documentary, wonder if it was the same one...
I like the 3D impact of this little guy
And then there's this..not sure how they know the octo is dreaming!

YES YES NR - that's the one I saw - "There's an Octopus in my house" I think it was called. I loved it - it was just amazing wasn't it? The way Heidi (I think that was her name) reacted to the humans, particularly the daughter, and how she learnt how to ring the bell to get the guy to come and see her!!! Honest to goodness I don't think I could eat an octopus after that - I had no idea there were so clever.
Watching one of the wild ones slide across the rocks was surreal though - all gliding and sliding and gloopy.
It's a shame we don't find that sort of packaging more attractive and then they wouldn't get such a hard time in those old horror stories at sea; really they're such shy creatures.
Perhaps the programme should have been in the movie thread..

Their "packaging" is pretty scary, and the old tales of the sea didn't help their reputation one bit. They truly are the most fluid creatures. Dee, you'll like it; so many moments in the show where we turned to each other & just said, "WOW-didn't know that!"Moonchime wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 10:33 amYES YES NR - that's the one I saw - "There's an Octopus in my house" I think it was called.
