This is a painting from 2010 I've seen in London, it was still there a year ago.
This painting has struck me then, partially for the model's resemblance to Emily Kinney.
Now I realise he has painted prolifically all over London, and I can't wait to go back to look for some more of his stuff. It's amazing how each time I go back, I recognise more and more artists. I love that.

You've provided us with a comprehensive education about so many artists! I love the fact that you can experience so many in person & that you recognize more each time. It is a thrill, isn't it? Great new additions, too!

It is fantastic seeing this work en mass. With each piece, I acquired a new appreciation for his choices and brush strokes - color bursts. Subtle and not so subtle backgrounds. What first reached out to me was the eyes. I am an eye person, of course, but with just a subtle twist of the brush so much is expressed. I also love the children. Very beautiful body of work. I love that so many street artists strive to infuse the positive in their art - that they want inspiration and beauty to reach out to the passerby. So much to be proud of here!

That seems to be the overwhelming theme of all this gorgeous street art. Whether it be a busy urban street corner or a bombed-out shell of a building, they only want to bring joy and unexpected beauty. They are some of the best people among us.
