YES!!! Thanks for these!! I especially remember the young mom in the hat with the parasol; she wasn't exactly thrilled with being the focal point of her village after all was said and done...

That's my favourite, I think. Such a lovely image, and fits onto that wall and into that location so perfectly. I loved how these photographs were little celebrations of their subjects, making them feel special by simply capturing their image and displaying them in meaningful context. Let them physically imprint on their environment. And the photo sessions were so much fun, already providing an event for the community and then something lovely left behind to keep them talking.

I couldn't get onto JR's website, but he also has a Facebook page.

I've found there this sweet little street art made by Osgemeos, a great duo from Brazil, who must have their own thread here sometime soon.

Mz NR, in Abandoned Buildings you've posted an article about the hospital on Ellis Island open to the public with a special installation...remember?
NurseRatched wrote: ↑Thu Nov 23, 2017 7:56 amIn case anyone is in the New York City area this weekend, a more in-depth tour of the Ellis Island hospital is scheduled. Abandoned for 60 years...
