This is great! What beautiful colours! Thanks, Mz K!

The hair reminds me of the one you've seen in Portland. It seems the vegetation has started to grow:

I've noticed Fin has also just done another mural in his Beauty with butterflies series, in LA:

I just love it when the vegetation starts to grow - it adds such a great dimension and takes the art on a whole new journey of the unknown!

The butterflies really add something I think, although Fin's treatment of the cloth in the last picture is wonderful - it has such weight to it you feel like you could put your hand beneath it and feel the quality and texture.

The "Raizes" in San Diego I am not so keen on although the first picture fascinated me because of the colour of the background; the quality of the blue light and the shadows reminded me of Edward Hopper's work and the photo as a whole has an ethereal quality to it which I really like.
Thanks mermaids. :x

He is a master! The shadows and reflection of light off those beads!! As you say, you can almost reach out and touch them.

I wonder if he used a template 'cos it could have been one tedious job doing that many beads of the same size and then there's the collar as well!

Either way it's a incredible job. :72:

Well, if you look closely, the beads actually look all different sizes, very rustic. :72:

I can't even imagine the patience of this man.

It's funny when you start researching someone, suddenly they crop up EVERYWHERE.

Fin Dac has just done this fabulous mural in honour of Frida Kahlo in Mexico City.
