I just love it when the vegetation starts to grow - it adds such a great dimension and takes the art on a whole new journey of the unknown!
The butterflies really add something I think, although Fin's treatment of the cloth in the last picture is wonderful - it has such weight to it you feel like you could put your hand beneath it and feel the quality and texture.
The "Raizes" in San Diego I am not so keen on although the first picture fascinated me because of the colour of the background; the quality of the blue light and the shadows reminded me of Edward Hopper's work and the photo as a whole has an ethereal quality to it which I really like.

He is a master! The shadows and reflection of light off those beads!! As you say, you can almost reach out and touch them.
