...getting through this season now like wildfire...

It's amazing how all the different once-distant little jigsaw pieces are now beginning to fit together.

Sam healed Jorah in his gratitude to Jorah's father, Commander Mormont. And Daenerys and Jon meet! Wow. Their scenes are just so delicious. Two beautiful people with good hearts and intentions, trying to find a way to get help from the other. It's all going to work out, we know it, but it's delightful how Jon refuses to "bend the knee" in the process. He is the real grown up here, who recognises what's most important, but at the same time, he doesn't subject his people to be ruled by the south again. The two of them can be equal allies, and Daenerys will have to accept that. If her main concern is really the people's welfare, she will have to accept it.

Cersei is masterful at revenge, we gotta give it to her. Vile as she is, some of her enemies were also vile and deserved to be punished. The High Sparrow and the faith militant, the sadistic nun who was tormenting her in prison, and the Dornish Sand Snake who poisoned her daughter. But when Cersei dishes out punishment, it doesn't just fit the crime, it eclipses it a hundred fold. Her revenge is always so terrific that it's hard to rejoice in the justice of it. Certainly not like how Arya or Sansa do it. Their way is always just and satisfying.

Bran is no longer Bran, is he? That's partially very sad, especially for his family, but it's also super exciting, and he will be invaluable to Jon, to the North, and to the entire Westeros.

This is just so good now, it's impossible to slam on the breaks. I want to savour the last few episodes, but, but, but...
